If a speaker is present allow them to speak and then follow that with some entertainment. The most important thing to remember is to create enough time to present your organization as well.

Solicit Donations

A portion of the revenue that comes to your fundraising venture is provided by the guests and the tickets they buy. But the larger majority is given by corporate sponsorship. Begin by issuing inquiries to all potential sponsors. You may choose to give advertising to the sponsor while receiving their support in return. This can be done as an advertisement  in the program or by giving a slideshow presentation at your event.

Publicize Your Event

Once deciding on the time & actual date & location of your event, it's time to make it public. Remember to utilize all available resources as possible, most importantly these are inexpensive. You can provide methods such as creating flyers & passing them out to the general public. Notifications can also be created by using media sources such as your local newspaper or online news.
